The Mercurial Sphygmomanometer is a device used to measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure, by raising the pressure inside the cuff of the device and then gradually lowering it.
It consists of:
A tube containing mercury next to a graduated scale.
An inflatable elastic cuff that wraps around the arm.
A tool to inflate the air inside the cuff, and a valve to deflate it.
Intra-cuff pressure sensor.

Benefits:

How to use Mercurial Sphygmomanometer:
1- Wrap the cuff of the compression device around the upper arm, and gently press the stethoscope bell.

3- Listen to the pulse sound using the stethoscope while observing the mercury indicator at the same time, and write down the reading of the first pulse sound you hear, which expresses the systolic blood pressure. 4- Then write down the second reading when the pulse disappears; Which expresses diastolic blood pressure.
