For Blood Glucose Testing
1Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
2Insert a CareSens PRO glucose test strip into the meter. The meter will turn on automatically.
3Use a lancing device to prick your fingertip and obtain a small drop of blood.
4Touch the test strip to the blood sample. It will draw in the blood automatically.
5Wait for results. Your blood glucose level will appear on the screen in about 5 seconds.
6Dispose of the used strip and lancet safely.
For Blood Ketone Testing
1Insert a ketone test strip into the meter. The meter will detect the strip type and turn on.
2Prick your finger and apply the blood drop to the strip.
3Wait for the result. Ketone levels will appear in about 8 seconds.
4Dispose of materials properly.
