Hydralyte Strawberry Kiwi Electrolyte Ice Blocks 16s

Hydralyte Strawberry Kiwi Electrolyte Ice Blocks are an oral rehydration product supplied in individual sleeves for freezing at home. They help replace water and electrolytes lost through vomiting, diarrhea, heavy sweating or vigorous exercise. The strawberry kiwi flavor is combined with glucose and electrolyte salts, offering a frozen format that can be consumed in small amounts rather than drinking a full glass at once. This presentation contains 16 ice blocks and should be used according to the age-based directions on the pack. The formula contains sugars as well as sodium and potassium, so it is important to check the label and seek advice when illness or dietary restrictions affect suitability. The convenience of a frozen format does not remove the need to watch symptoms and to seek help when it is needed.

What is in it

• Glucose monohydrate, helping support absorption of water and sodium
• Sodium chloride, providing sodium to help replace electrolyte losses
• Potassium citrate, providing potassium as part of electrolyte replacement
• Citric acid monohydrate, an acidifying component of the oral rehydration formula
• Contains sucralose, benzoates, sorbates and tartrazine, as declared on the pack

How to use

Place the unopened ice blocks in the freezer. Once frozen, cut open one end with clean scissors and push the block up from the uncut end. Suck small amounts slowly and frequently, following the age-based directions and maximum daily quantity on your pack or the advice of a pharmacist. Do not exceed the stated maximum. Seek medical advice if vomiting persists, or if diarrhea persists for more than 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 to 6 years, or 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years. These ice blocks contain sugars, sodium and potassium; read the label and check suitability if you have dietary restrictions. Store unfrozen stock below 30°C and keep the packaging intact until use.
